The company

ICMEA operates in the sector of industrial innovation supporting customers to develop new products or processes. Since 2006, ICMEA designs and manufactures prototypes, pilot plants and bespoke products in the sectors of environment, energy, chemical industry and mechatronic systems. In 2021 ICMEA entered into the medical sector and acquired the ISO13485 certification for design and manufacture of lung ventilators.

Engineering

ICMEA engineering team if composed of experienced people with skills in process, mechanical, electrical, electronic and automation engineering.

Research and Development

The development of a new product or process goes through several steps also known as Technology Readiness Levels (TRL). ICMEA supports their customers from the basic idea to the fully developed product.

Feasibility

Feasibility studies allow a preliminary check on new technologies and particularly their technical, economical and financial viability. With a good feasibility study, economical and financial resource available are optimised and, also, the new product or process will be positioned correctly on the market.

Team

ICMEA was founded in 2006 by Claudio Amorese who is currently director. ICMEA‘s divisions are: design, production and management. The design division is composed of mechanical, electrical, electronic, process and automation design. The workshop is equipped with tools, 3D printers and instrumentation for tests.
